Water proof Triple calendar watch from the Watchmaker's School Technicum La Chaux-de-Fonds, ca. 1950s.


Very rare watch from a watchmaker's school. , Well-preserved case in two parts. Silvered dial with  gold indices and Arabic numerals, signed: Technicum La Chaux-De-Fonds.
Very fine automatic triple calendar movement  with moon phase.
movement Felsa 693  signed with the students name on the rotor.
Size of the stainless steel case is 35mm

Rare collector's item. 
The watch was modified to the highest quality by a student at the Technicum. Angled and polished edges of the modular mechanism, finely polished steel parts, movement with Geneva stripes, polished escapement Breguet spiral . The student's name is hand engraved on the rotor

This is the first time that I see a automatic triple calendar as a school watch.
Most school watches are a pocket watch, chronograph's or a time only watches.
