Rolex 6239 Cosmograph Daytona with dark brown tropical sub dials.
A superb and very attractive example of the hand-wound Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 6239, produced in 1967 – the only year featuring the distinctive large “Daytona” logo above the 6 o’clock subdial.
This example stands out for its silver dial with beautifully aged tropical sub-registers, turning a warm dark-chocolate tone under sunlight – a rare and highly desirable patina that gives the watch remarkable depth and presence.
The watch retains its original 300-unit bezel, correct needle subdial hands, and all other period-correct 1967 components.
Powered by the Valjoux-based calibre 722, the movement has been recently serviced and runs perfectly.
A true collector’s Daytona in fully honest condition, combining sharp case proportions, period-correct parts, and exceptional dial tonality.
