Vintage cartier Tank Louis Cartier Paris dial Jaeger movement from the 1960's
This rare Cartier Paris Tank Louis watch from the late 1960s is highly sought after as it predates Cartier's takeover in 1972. The watch features a manual winding Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 818/2, specially made for Cartier movement is finishing on the highest level like patek and vacheron.
The Case is made by Edmond Jaeger in 18-karat gold, with serial / production numbers from Cartier and Edmond jaeger on the case, case back and folding clasp. ( It is anice serial nr ending on 007 ;-))
The classic design features all of Cartier's signature elements: a white dial with black Roman numerals, a railway bezel, blued steel hands, and
a rare long blue cabochon crown. This type off crown is mostly lost when it has a serviced past.
The dial is signed 'Paris' and the watch comes on a beautiful vintage Hermes style leather strap
(It will fit a 19.5 cm wrist) That looks great on it
It give the watch a unique vintage style feel.
