About this watch
A beautiful and elegant E. Gübelin pocket watch, dating from approximately the 1930s.
The highlight of this exceptional timepiece is its stunning two-tone salmon dial, featuring a contrasting darker salmon chapter ring with Roman numerals, elegant hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The warm salmon tones give the watch a particularly attractive and distinctive appearance.
The 46mm stainless steel case houses a Swiss manual-winding movement with 15 jewels, signed Gübelin.
Founded in Lucerne in 1854, Gübelin established an exceptional reputation as one of Switzerland’s most prestigious watch and jewellery houses, with close connections to some of the finest Swiss watchmakers.
A charming example of traditional Swiss watchmaking, combining an unusual two-tone salmon dial with timeless Art Deco elegance and wonderful vintage character.
